Dezeen and its designer MICHA WEIDMANN are publishing the official newspaper and guide to Tokyo Designers Week this year. This newspaper will be Dezeen’s editorial look and feel that has never been translated onto the printed page which features products being launched at TDW, profiles of designers and companies and other news.
This news paper will be published in two volumes during Tokyo Designers Week.
Former icon magazine editor in chief MARCUS FAIRS’ latest creation, Dezeen.com, was established in the end of 2006, and became one of the most popular design sites which attract 200,000 viewers. He has extensive knowledge and experience in the design conference and was assigned again for the second time for the role of host and a panelist in Third Annual World Design Conference 2008 in Tokyo Designers Week.
Combining a background in classic print design with art direction honed on luxurious brands such as Prada and Miu Miu, Micha also brings his finely-tuned talents to bear on editorial, exhibition and publication work. He teaches typography at the School of Graphic Design in Bern, and is a regular on international design and photography award panels. Micha Weidmann is currently the Creative Director of Design Science Office ─ a company that discounts nothing in terms of the breadth of work it can offer. Every design solution translating seamlessly from online to print, and vice-versa.

This news paper will be available at Main Venue of Tokyo Designers Week in Jingu Gaien and other shops and exhibition registered in Shop Exhibition, including Zero exhibition at Akasaka Karajan.
